DR. JOSÉ RAFAEL DANGOND

Doctor José Rafael Dangond is a Colombian orthopaedic surgeon and completed his studies as a specialist in Spine Surgery at Fundación Santafe de Bogotá. In 2019 he entered the AOSpine LatinAmerica scholarship program doing the International Fellowship in Spine Surgery focused on the management of oncological and minimally invasive pathologies in São Paulo-Brazil in hospitals such as Santa Casa da Misericordia and Albert Einstein, among others. Since 2021 he began his experience with endoscopic spine surgery in the city of Barranquilla and he considers endoscopy an excellent tool for the treatment and care of his patients. Dr. José Rafael Dangond is a member of the Colombian Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (SCCOT), a member of the Colombian Society of Spine Surgery (SOCCOL), a member of the Northern Association of Traumatology and Orthopedics (ATON), a member of AOSpine and member of the Spine Pathology Research group SPINEBOG. He is currently Clinical Head of Clinica Campbell and Clinica de la Policia in Barranquilla and centro Hospitalario Serena del Mar in Cartagena.
